Discovering the right seal for your fridge, freezer, or coldroom is a breeze with our comprehensive identification guide. Follow the simple steps outlined below to accurately identify the perfect seal for your appliance and enjoy an airtight and energy-efficient refrigeration solution.
For Domestic Fridges + Freezers
1
Locate The Compliance Plate
The compliance plate is often found inside of the door, on the inner side, or on the lower face that the seal touches against. It can sometimes be on the outside or back of the unit but this is uncommon. It may also be found on your receipt from when you purchased the unit.
2
Take Note Of Your Model Number
The model number identifies the unit and its compatible parts, it will sometimes be called the model code.
3
Look Up Your Model
Once you have located your model number, search it in our search bar. If it doesn't return any results, contact us for assistance. We can likely still help, it just may be a less common unit.
For Commercial Fridges, Freezers + Coldrooms
1
Cut a Cross Section
Carefully cut through your seal (ideally on the hinge side) to expose a clean cross section.
2
Identify Style of Seal
There are four main styles of seals, Flap (screw in), Arrowhead (push in), Bead (screw or glue in) and Compression (screw in). Compare and select the category that best matches your sample.
